20 million UK customers are overpaying for energy and are stuck on annual Standard Variable Contracts with default tariffs. These are often 30-40% higher than the current market prices. Symbio Energy can Break You Out of the contract with our BreakOut Tariff. The Breakout tariff is at least 30% cheaper than the Big 6 Energy Company Standard and Default Tariffs. The Big 6 Energy companies include British gas, EDF, SSE, Scottish Power, EON and NPower. We have an exit fee as we have to recover the cost of the ‘buy out’ from the Big 6 throughout the year. You don’t have to wait till the end of your contract. You can BreakOut today and start saving today!
VAT is included in all of the charges where VAT is applicable and this may differ from how they are displayed on the bill.
Estimated costs include VAT and are based on current prices for the monthly and annual estimated costs shown above.
If you are happy with the above tariff, then please select the ‘Switch you Supply’ button to register your details.****
*How your Tariff Works: In order to provide such low prices, Symbio Energy like others in the market will take a monthly amount equivalent to the monthly quote you have received in the quote recently provided in advance. We bill in line with calendar months.
A switch request takes a minimum of 14 days and normally takes up to 21 days. Once the switch is confirmed within the electricity network, we will send you a bill from the date of the switch to the end of the calendar month. At the end of the first calendar month, we will send you an estimated bill based on your stated consumption. Therefore there will be no monies either held by us or owed to us.
At the beginning of the calendar month, we will request the following months advance from your account and at the end of the calendar month, we will send you an estimated energy bill for the month just passed. Our revised bills will soon show provide details of monies held on account or owed to us on a rolling basis. More details are available in the full terms and conditions
***In choosing the Direct Debit module, it is the responsibility of the customer to provide Symbio Energy, a duly completed Direct Debit authority.
Symbio Energy will allow a one month grace to allow Direct Debit authorities to be sent and will assist in reminding customers. If, however, a valid direct debit is not received within the allocated period, Symbio Energy will amend the tariff rate and notify the customer accordingly.
Direct Debit payments reduce the cost associated with credit control. These savings are passed onto the customer via the Direct Debit tariff. Hence it is only equitable that Symbio Energy is able to recover avoidable costs or seek to amend the tariff to recover avoidable costs.
****The quote is based upon the information you have provided. If this information is not correct, then our customer services team will be in touch to provide you with a tariff that matches the profile of your meter.
What is a kWh (kilowatt-hour)?
The abbreviation kWh stands for kilowatt-hour. It's the unit that's used to measure energy use. For example, 1 kWh will power a vacuum for 40 minutes. (source: Energy Saving Trust)
What is a standing charge?
A customer pays a standing charge separately to their energy usage. It's for the cost of delivering and supplying energy to their home, rather than energy usage. A standing charge may vary depending on what tariff a customer is on and whether the supply relates to electricity or gas.
